Tufting Prague was founded in 2025 as a creative sister project of Something New Prague a community project of heart founded by Roxane De Munck and Maxime Garnier. Through Something New, we’ve spent years bringing people together through workshops, social events, and unique experiences that explore creativity and discovering new things.
Our mission has always been simple: to make creativity accessible, fun, and social. We love introducing new activities in a way that feels light and welcoming, no pressure, no experience needed. At our events, you might leave not only with a new skill but also with new friends as all our activities are solo-friendly.
With Tufting Prague, we’re continuing that same spirit now through the world of tufting art. Our tufting workshops invite you to design and create your own tufted piece in a relaxed, inspiring atmosphere. Whether you’re coming solo, with friends, or as part of a team-building experience, you’ll find a space to relax and create!
We host our workshops in cozy venues across Prague, with our home base at Studio 32 in Letná. So whether you’re seeking a creative escape or a new way to connect with others, we can’t wait to welcome you to the Tufting Prague community. The workshops are generally in English but can be requested to be in Czech, French and Dutch.

Tufting Prague vznikl v roce 2025 jako kreativní sesterský projekt Something New Prague, komunitní iniciativy ze srdce, kterou založili Roxane De Munck a Maxime Garnier. Prostřednictvím Something New už několik let spojujeme lidi prostřednictvím workshopů, společenských akcí a jedinečných zážitků, které podporují kreativitu a objevování nových věcí.
Naším posláním je jednoduché, zpřístupnit kreativitu všem, aby byla zábavná, uvolněná a společenská. Rádi představujeme nové aktivity v přátelském duchu, bez tlaku a bez potřeby předchozích zkušeností. Z našich akcí si možná neodnesete jen novou dovednost, ale i nové přátele, protože všechny naše aktivity jsou otevřené i pro jednotlivce.
S projektem Tufting Prague na tuto filozofii navazujeme, tentokrát prostřednictvím tuftingového umění. Na našich workshopech si můžete navrhnout a vytvořit vlastní tuftovaný kousek v pohodové a inspirativní atmosféře. Ať už přijdete sami, s přáteli nebo v rámci teambuildingu, vždy tu najdete prostor k odpočinku a tvoření.
Workshopy pořádáme v útulných prostorách po celé Praze, přičemž naším domovem je Studio 32 v Letné. Pokud hledáte kreativní únik z každodennosti nebo nový způsob, jak poznat zajímavé lidi, budeme se těšit, až vás přivítáme v komunitě Tufting Prague. Workshopy probíhají převážně v angličtině, ale na přání mohou být vedeny také v češtině, francouzštině nebo nizozemštině.
MEET THE TEAM
Roxane
Founder
Roxane does a little bit of a lot of things! From a very inspiring childhood running along with the web-tv community of her parents in the 2000’s Belgian cultural scene she couldn’t escape the urge to start organising all kinds of events and workshops herself. The more creative the better and always meant to include everyone.
Of all crafts, tufting is her favorite because it’s very forgiving and the satisfaction of seeing results so quickly keeps her hooked every time.

Maxime
Rug Enthousiast
Maxime discovered his love for tufting by accident and he turned out to be a natural. Having made many gifts for his family he is now considering making bigger rugs for his home. His rugs are usually cartoon characters or other funny objects. He’s always happy to share his knowledge with you.

Alžběta
Instructor
Alžběta might be the craftiest person you will ever meet! She is super creative as well as a very sweet soul that will always be there to help you out! Collage art is her favorite and she runs regular collage workshops in Prague.
Alžběta and Roxane met in Smalterie, an enamel mug painting workshop and it was a great match! They have been on many creative ventures ever since.
